If it doesn't have increased storage and an auction house of some sort, I wont buy it...
This game has run its course. It needs major improvement in a lot of areas. I have no desire for new profession, new grind, etc

lol don't have a Mesmer, but I know that they are the most underated class. 1 mesmer can shut down a whole team. They are NASTY.

Please don't overexaggerate things. Mesmers are good but they aren't THAT good.

By shutting down a whole team you meant shutting down one person....
Messies are very good in 1v1.
Back to the topic, I really hope Anet is going to improve existing areas instead of adding new ones...

I would definitely go out and buy it if it came out tomorrow. I still love this game, and probably will for awhile yet. I admit that I didn't much like Factions. I still play it, and I still enjoy it to an extent, but I don't love it nearly as much as Prophecies or Nightfall.
However, I think that if it were brought out tomorrow, purely hypothetically, it would be the worst game of the series. It would have been released 2 months ahead of schedule (April release). I much prefer the later release date, since it means that they're putting a lot of work into it, and i think it'll be great.
Also, the late release date gives me time to get Legendary Defender of Ascalon on my ranger and take her through the 3 campaigns, ready to play through the next one.
And finally, if it were released tomorrow, it means I didn't get to preorder it and get any special deals (like the pre-release bonus free with preorder of Nightfall that I got).
So yeah, I'd buy it if it came out tomorrow. But I think there'd be a lot of cons to the early release date.

I'd scream my heart out because I haven't got my C4's CE key yet! I must be able to play immediately!

Absolutely not, gotta save up for Lord of the Rings: Online
I do realize that Guild Wars was meant to be a non-traditional "mmorpg"-like game where it's focus was mainly around combat and the whole build/skill thing, but one can only take so much of that one element of gameplay. Given that expansions are just the same game with different skins and skills, adding no real gameplay additions, I'm definitely would not spend another $50 on another one. I really don't know how long Anet can drag this game out, given it's constant course.

I'd buy it with no hesitation.
I only bought C3 for old times sake, after C2 I was convinced ArenaNet hated my type of player. I prefer taking my time and exploring, and for that reason mostly play solo. C2 made that very difficult, and they even made henchmen emulate PUG's by starting to insult you if you spend five seconds thinking about what to do next, or enjoying the view. C3 more than made up for it with the heroes.
Of course, I'm in no hurry for C4 to come out, I haven't completed C3 yet (as I said, I play s l o w), and I'm also looking forward to taking my heroes through the two previous campaigns.
[ I do occasionally play in PUG's or in Random Arena for variation, but it is for the solo play I buy the games. ]

I don't see each game as the same, since I play for the storyline. I don't play so I can experience different builds and different professions, and I don't like PvP. I play only one or two characters, and play through the entire storyline, watching all cinematics, doing all bonuses and such. So in my opinion, it is well worth paying $80 (how much CE costs over here in Australia).

For once, I agree with Vitis.
There's no way in hell I am buying another chapter of Guild Wars if it isn't preceded by (at the very least) beta weekends.

Nah, Chapter 3 killed it for me. Nowhere near as many PUGS (everyone Hero'd/Henched), i would definatly wait to see peoples reactions and then go out and buy it, maybe. It would have o have something really new and exciting though

To little information is all I have to say. Here is the problem A-net needs an actuall hype machine (the first time I actually asked for one). Tell you the truth the overbearing step-child is taking away a good amount of action. We need more people, so the advertisement sector of the game needs to be raised to credibility for people to actually get it.
That is one of the biggest complaints from the press about the series to date.

I'd buy it. When I look at GW I look for a source of fun. The only thing that got me a bit annoyed was factions with it's ridiculous quest rewards. Other than that gg Anet ^_^

If I wouldn't be in guild that I am currently in, I wouldn't probably be playing at all. I've gotten lifetime friends trough my guild, so nothing to complain about.
I'd buy it as soon as I got money for it. When they announce release date, I know to start saving, it won't require much More than likely, I'd get CE.

I could buy it based on the quality of the previous chapters. However, It'd be highly suspect if it popped onto the shelves with no advance warning.
